Tattoo Aftercare Instructions
Download Aftercare Sheet- 1Wash 2–3 times daily with warm water & antibacterial soap. Use bare hands and pat dry. Do not scrub!!
- 2Apply a thin layer of antibacterial ointment or cream.
- 3Apply lotion as needed after 2–3 days and continue with antibacterial ointment.
- 4Use sterile bandages, or sterile dressings when necessary.
No swimming, soaking, sunlight exposure, or tanning for 4–6 weeks. The tattoo must be completely healed. Redness, swelling and peeling are all normal.

The client shall consult a health care practitioner at the first sign of infection or allergic reaction, and report any diagnosed infection, allergic reaction, or adverse reaction resulting from the tattoo to the Artist and the Texas Department of State Health Services, Tattoo and Body Piercing Program at (512) 834-6711.
